• katy beatrice mischel was born on november 4th, 1992 to her parents mark and samantha mischel. her parents weren't wealthy or came from old money, they were just regular folk living in lake city trying to make a living for their children. they work hard so their children can grow up in a good enviroment and have sucessful careers of their own one day. she has an older brother as well as a younger sister making katy the middle child of the family.
• her parents are very strict and have rules that each of their kids are expected to follow. ever since she was little, her parents stressed to all their children that education is key and to have best life possible, you need to do well in your classes so one day you can go to college. so, getting honours in school was very much expected from her. her parents put a ton of pressure on her and expected nothing less then the best.
• at first katy followed all the rules. she was the teacher’s pet all through elementry and was hated by most of the class with the way she was always answering the questions first and showing them up. when jounior high rolled around, katy was aware that this was the time where her grades would count. at first she was excited about the challenge that was infront of her. instead of making friends, she did her homework at lunch. instead of hanging out with her classmates on the weekend, she studied. katy spent so much effort on school, but it was never good enough for her parents. well the more pressure that was starting to be put on her, the less she wanted to try.
• fourteen was the age that she first discovered pot. after having enough of her parents breathing down her neck, katy snuck of of the house and end up attending her very first party. it was there she was handed her very first drink even though she was told that it was punch, and had her very first hit. she couldn't believe how the pot quickly took away all the pressure that she was feeling inside. for the first time she felt relaxed and happy, and since then wanted nothing but to always have this feeling.
• quickly, her grades started to drop the more she began staying out at night and smoking weed. she started having a lot more friends than she ever had and doing things she thought she would never do. she got more attention from her classmates, espcially the boys. parties, alcohol, making out with someone new for the night, and getting high was what her nights consisted of. but it was the pot that she loved th most. katy became so found of the stuff that if she wasn't high, she couldn't have fun.
• katy is best known as the black sheep in her family. she's unlike her two siblings who do well in school, follow all the rules, and get praised by their parents. instead, she's the one who is always getting grounded, lectured at, and told on a regular basis that she should start acting more like her siblings. with less attention being put on her, and always being told that she isn't good enough, katy found a way to rebel and rebel she did.
• currently she's seventeen years old and a junior at lake city high. when she's not in class barely getting by, you can usually find her getting high as a kite at the back of the school. she often cuts class and wanders around aimlesly. she is a smart girl, but doesn't apply herself enough to make it count. but somehow she's been able to maintain 'C' grade average, enough for her to be able to graduate. but honestly, katy just doesn't care. they way she see it, she's only going to be young once and she should be the one to decide how she spends it.
• among her peers she's known as a troublemaker. she has no problem saying what's on her mind which can sometimes turn physical. she can throw a punch and has gotten into her share of fist fights. she’s the kind of girl parents tell their children to stay far away from. yeah, she can be quite the bad influence if you are around her, but it isn’t her fault. she just has a way of sucking people in with her ‘i don’t give a fuck’ personality making for lots of fun stories.
• katy is quite the partier. get enough drinks in her and she’ll be the one dancing on tables or initiating a game of strip poker, even though she’s usually the one to end up naked. she’s there at every single party and usually macking on a new boy for the night. a total make out queen, kissing is one of her favourite things to do. she drinks like a fish and has quite the potty mouth on her as well.
• pot is kind of her best friend and most of the time she’s high. those times that she’s not are usually spent tracking someone down who can supply her with the goods. when she isn’t baked that’s when katy comes off as a sarcastic bitch to most people. she's not afraid to say whatever is on her mind whether it’s a nice or mean comment. on the other hand, when she’s been smoking, her personality completely changes. she becomes mellow, funny and easy to talk to. she’ll just go with the flow and have fun while doing it.
• the best way to describe katy would be different. her mood can change just like that and it gets especially worse when she burns out. most of the time she’s doing one of her strange antics like going to wal-mart late at night to play in the toy section, playing ding dong ditch, mooning unsuspecting people or going ghost hunting in the cemetery. there isn’t anything that she wouldn’t try at least once. her friends mean the world to her since she views them like her family. she’ll stick up for them and whatever happens, katy always has their back.
• she absolutely loves attention when she's high and if you give it to her, she will eat it right up. she loves to be in front of the camera which makes for tons of photo sessions with friends. if she could take that love for getting her picture taken and make some kind of career out of it, that would probably make for the best job ever. katy has no idea what she wants to do with her future, but she doesn’t really spend much time being concerned about it. the one thing that she does know, is that as soon as she graduates from high school, she’s getting the hell out of lake city and going somewhere far away.
• even though most would suspect that she probably doesn’t have any brain cells left in that head of hers, she is quite an intelligent person. she loves to read. when she’s skipping class, sometimes she’ll wander into the library, find a book and sit in one of the aisles that no one goes down and read. it’s another way for her to escape her reality and get lost in the stories. she is quite fond of the harry potter series and has probably read them over and over more times then she can even count. but don't think she'll tell you this information, it's something that only her close friends know about her.
• at the moment, katy works at starbucks as a part time job. the only reason she’s there is because she needs extra money to buy weed. she hates her job with a passion and has more than once spit into a customer’s drink. not a lot of effort is put into doing a good job, but she puts up with it because of the pay check she gets out of it.
• likes: her old school sidekick, people watching, peanut butter and banana sandwiches, smoking weed, over sized sunglasses, yummy boys, bubblegum ice cream, rainy days, naked boys, full house reruns, bad 90s music, eating plate loads of food, cake, skipping class, sleeping in till noon, sarcasm, bad rap songs, not getting caught, harry potter, eating pancakes for dinner, playing video games, animals, random adventures, watching people fall over and hurt themselves
• hates: falling over and hurting herself, burnt out mornings, running low on weed, annoying people, stupid people, being alone, spiders, burning her ear with the hair straightener, onions, mornings, being cold
STORYLINES
THE DEALER - this would be the person that supplies her with what she needs. they meet when high school first started at a party, and have grown closer since then. he's become more than just a dealer to her and someone that she's come to be able to trust.
THE HIPSTER CHIC - her female best friend. she's katy's partner in crime and her other half.
THE LIPSTICK LES - one of katy's friends. they're PE skipping buddies and hang out instead of being forced to do physical activity.
THE YOUTUBER they smoke weed together and katy guest stars in some of his videos. they get along great and even have made out a few times at parties. she wishes that she can have his family since they all smoke and are super chill.
THE GET DRUNK AND HOOK UP dora and katy use to be best friends. they met in kindergarten and bonded over matching stuffed animals, and from that day were totally inseparable. they had slumber parties, threw sand at boys and laughed in their face, basically did everything together. they could have made a pact that they would stay friends forever and nothing would change when they entered high school. but when that happened they started to drift apart as they were starting to make different friends and becoming different people. now they still don't speak since they're so different, but are still kind of aware of each other. katy feels bad seeing her former best friend being used for sex, but doesn’t do anything about it.
THE SCENE KING her skipping/party/smoking/starbucks buddies. when hudson comes in starbucks, katy wanders off from doing her job to sit with him and chat. she's kind of a slacker at work, sp when he comes in she tries to sneak him free drinks.
